We also enjoy reflecting on the richness of ministry life together. I'm a collector of memories, with special rocks, shells, and various mementos, joined by thousands of photographs, which remind me of important people and places that have marked our journey thus far. My soul comes alive singing the great hymns of the church and enjoying the beauty of God's creation. My favorite walk is on the beach at low tide between Sesuit Harbor and the Brewster flats on Cape Cod (MA)...it's beautiful year-round! I'm in awe of God for fulfilling the dream for LTI that he birthed in my heart one year before we started this ministry. Since our inception in 2003, the team God has assembled is phenomenal and the ministry has grown beyond all my greatest hopes and expectations. But, most of all, the transformational impact on the leaders and teams we serve together makes every long day incredibly meaningful and satisfying."

"God loves each and every one of us with depth, persistence and intensity beyond imagination. God doesn't simply like you. Nor does God simply have warm sentimental feelings toward you just because you were created in the Divine image. The truth is that God loves you with what Hannah Hurnard calls 'a passionate absorbed interest.' God cannot help seeing you through the eyes of love."

-- David Benner

"The root idea of Sabbath is simple as rain falling, basic as breathing. It's that all living things--and many nonliving things too--thrive only by an ample measure of stillness."

-- Mark Buchanan

"Management is doing things right; leadership is doing the right things."

-- Peter Drucker

"Christian ministry is more than doing good. Ministry is an act of service performed either consciously or unconsciously in the name of Christ. Ministry is Jesus Christ expressing his life through us. It is born, therefore, not in activity; but in solitude, where through the Spirit we experience the power of life from within."

-- James C. Fenhagen
